Last week I covered these words from Jesus’ sermon on the mount. As we move on in our series, it is important to remember that Jesus fulfills all righteousness for us as believers. According to Jeremiah’s words on the New Covenant in chapter thirty one, the law of God is now written in our hearts. Christ’s presence in the believer empowers obedience from the inside out! As we trust the power of Christ in us, we can begin to see the righteous life emerge in our hearts, thoughts and potentially our actions. This week we will be focusing in on Jesus’ words as it relates to anger and the need for reconciliation. Unless you are in complete denial, these words are very relevant to all of us!
