Last week I received an evening phone call from Maestro Richard Bonynge, calling from Switzerland to ask if I would sing the role of Rodelinda in Handels opera of the same name with him conducting. Melbourne people in case you would like to save the date.. Friday October 3 in Elisabeth Murdoch Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre. I will be working on the role with Maestro Bonynge from mid August, which in itself will be a huge, challenging and profoundly informative time for me. Im so humbled he thought sufficiently of me at WIAV to offer me this opportunity. Cannot wait!
