Last week I said goodbye to Pete. The only other person I knew who truly loved bluegrass music, who explained how to tell the difference between wheat and barley crops, who tried his hardest to teach me how to drop punt and who taught me that when the chips are down, you fight, and fight, and fight just a little bit more without ever complaining...ok...well occasionally I forget the no complaining bit! Thank you for all your support during Petes tough 12 year journey, particularly the past 5 months. This tough road has been made that little bit easier knowing that I have wonderful people who are thinking of me. If I havent responded to your message or phone call over the past 2 weeks its because of the shitty nearly non existent phone service in Nantawarra...or maybe that Im really crap at replying to messages...nope, its the shitty phone service. Thank you! You had a good innings Pete. Well played!
