Last week I was sightseeing and trying to get some rest in the Verapaces of Guatemala. The first day I visited the Biotopo del Quetzal in Baja Verapaz and actually saw two Quetzales in the wild. The Quetzal is the national bird of Guatemala. The next day I visited the area around the central park in Coban, and I climbed the 131 steps up to the El Calvario Church.
