Last week Living Lakes Canada was at the 2014 Columbia River Basin: Learning From Our Past to Shape Our Future Conference in Spokane, Washington. This conference brought together scientists, farmers, government, industry, First Nations and active community members from all directions of the Columbia Basin to discuss Transboundary topics focusing on the #CRT but ranging from Invasives to Watershed Governance. Its incredible and inspiring to see two nations working together peacefully to find the balance between ecosystem function, economics and social well-being.
