Last week Monday August 18th,Amosun called a meeting of few selected leader at Mottos Hall,invited are members of APC State Working Committed,Excos of ALCON,Assembly members,Commissioners,Special Advisers and Chairmen of Statutory Bodies,At the meeting the Governor told the sitting that the commissioning of the new APC Secretariat at lyana Mortuary scheduled for later in the week has been postponed indefinitely the reason he gave for the postponement was that the National Exco members and Gov Rauf Aregbesola invited as special guests said the date was not convinient for them,the Governor surprised the sitting when he said he intended to name the new Secretariat as Akinrogun House and this made the attend to look at one another and think the Governor is seriously confused,other issues were raised and some of the leaders present told the Governor that Party members are hungry and going through untold hardship,one of the leaders even complained about the lopsidedness and uneven distribution of the last SUBEB and Housing Corporation contracts among the leaders of the Party,a leader present also wonder why the Governor has not till date dissolve his cabinet members and put in familiar party faces and that the current set of commissioners are making things hard for the citizenry and party members moreso in the areas of levies,taxations and revenue generation and to this end Amosun promised to look into the issues promptly. In Osoba Group launching of the new AGN officially has been a big issue,one INEC wrote the Protem National Exco to complained that their are some similarities between the party loggo and that of another political party UPN which may convience voters and that the corrections should be made before proper launching,Two there has been an aggressive lobbying,pleading and begs by great personalities that Chief Osoba should not leave the party leading the many delegation was Rauf Aregbesola,Fashola and Fayemi,Raid has been constant in the old man house as if his new mandate depend on it,also brought into the pleading was the Awujale of Ijebuland,Prof Wole Soyinka and Prince Bola Ajibola,while Chief Obasanjo is working behind the scene he has been helping Amosun in getting in touch with people Osoba respect so much,but each time Chief Osoba held meeting with these people and they left as if he is in the knowledge and aware of the visit of the peacemakers Gov Daniel will call Chief Osoba and say Chief dont forget our agreement,please dont give that Amosun a second chance you know this is last outing and he is very vindictive if you allow him Sir what he will do will be worse than what he is doing now presently Chief Osoba is in a big dillemma either to forgive Amosun or follow Daniel,He is between two devils and he want to choose a lesser one,but can Amosun be trusted with agreement? wont he renege it? can Aregbesola and Fashola reaally force him to comply as they are couching for him? but the members of Osoba are daily getting dissillusioned in the delay in Osoba making them to migrate to where they can actualised their ambition,but is Daniel not want Amosun out so as to revenge and play vendetta? can Osoba and OGD work together without a fight at the end? wont joining alliance with OGD be from frying pan to fire? even if Osoba work with Amosun wont that be his political transition to oblivion? can both Amosun and Osoba working together still win election in Ogun State?If Osoba return back to APC will all his supporters still follow him down?. To this end Chief Osoba has called a Consultative meeting to his house in Abeokuta on Friday to decide the way forward,in a related development Amosun has started reaching out also to the National Assembly members to returned to him thereby promising them automatic return tickets to National Assembly,presently the likes of Williams,Odeneye and Abusive Balogun all HOR Members had returned to APC whether the governor will fulfill his promise to them will be known soon, But till date why is Amosun. still finding it hard to pacify people? is this government not under a curse or why is it making unforgettable and unpardonable error even when the re election is less than 7 months? why he find it hard to give out appointments,employments and empowerment,presently in APC there are no political activities and rallies? why did Amosun find it hard to spend the money of the people of the State on them,His city traveller also from ANPP to the then ACN and another SIA too Senator Isiaq Ajumobi (SIA) have listened to the voice of reasoning,he dissolved. his cabinet and send away the so called Technocrat and put in politicians in his cabinets and the Local Government Areas and instructed them to employ youths,he also appointed. LGs and Ward Liason officers thereby creating jobs,bringing government nearer to people and empowering more people,last Eld El Fitri alone he sent a trailer full of rice and N10m to each Local Government in the State for the festival,LG you listen to television Stations and Radio in Soyoye State, you will hear and see lots of paid and sponsored advert by Ajumobi Commissioners and cabinet members. and Local Government officials advertising Ajumobi second term bid,how many of Amosun cabinet members can advert Amosun for second term in their own volition using their personal money, is it the cabinet members that are not empowered? is the cabinet members that still need to write letters to the governor before they can get money for personal needs and obligations,for the last Eild Fitting it was 10 days after the festival that Amosun was giving a bag of rice to each polling booth and a paultry N10,000 for a party in government this is poor and worse,imagine Amosun. who gave each mosque and Imams N100,000 each last year only manage to give them N25,000 each this year,a government seek re election? One of the advantage of Party politics. especially with a ruling party is that there is no winner and there is no loser that even aspirants and candidates of the party who lost in primary and general elections are compensated but is it so with APC Ogun State,Amosun want to be both a king and a kingmaker,lets even agree Amosun is fighting both Daniel and Osoba his predecessors and their family,would anyone believe that for three years plus Amosun and his wife have not deem it fit to visit either the family house nor the widow of the first Executive Governor of Ogun State Chief Olabisi Onabanjo,what has Amosun done about the lopsidedness in his cabinet with did not reveal Federal Character while Amosun Abeokuta North has 54 States appointments and Ijebu Ode with 23 there are other LGA with two and one while others have none is it fair? with all these and more can Amosun win an election? even the overhead bridges Amosun did in ljebu Ode are alredy cracking even before it is commissioned,cant Amosun step down in APC and bring in a new person to contest? but Amosun leaders will quickly tell anyone that care to listen that no one can change a winning team,but is Amosun w winning team? if his team is winning why are most Amosun political appointees clandestinelyregistering their intention with Osoba AGN? why is Amosun afraid to spend in order bot to lose his deposit,why is there no other aspirant coming out on APC for Governorship in APC except Amosun and. Ogunniyi that Amosun gave N30m to be shakara about pretend as contesting,lm Ijebu lgbo the natives has taken Amosun to court getting a court injunction to restrain him from demolishinf their house six months to the end of his tenure under the pretext that he want to do road infrastructure for them,flatly where will the pendulum swing will Osoba join Daniel? will Daniel go back to PDP as he is being lobby to do? will Osoba who sold his N400m house in llorin because of Amosun election still go back to Amosun,will many old AD,AC,ACN members who are decamping to AGN openly and secrectly still follow Osoba back to APC? peradventure Amosun win his second term will the old ACN who didnt benefit now benefit then?
