Last week Wednesday at the BNI-The Hub meeting, member Ricka van Zyl who is a Human Development Specialist had this to share about starting up a small business: Loosely quoting Clem Sunter from a radio discussion on 1 November 2013 on Radio 702: In order to create the 5m jobs that the government is targeting, there needs to be 1m new small businesses created. This will go a long way on the road to reducing and eventually (hopefully) eliminating unemployment There are many people out there, with ideas that may be great and that could be turned into viable businesses with the right approach. Fear and uncertainty may hold them back, even after putting in much effort into thinking through the concept and talking about it at length. They are just not able to take the necessary steps forward But to be an entrepreneur, talking and planning are not enough. You have to plan appropriately, create the right foundation and then START, and know how to start so that your business has the best possible chance of success. If you have been considering starting your own business and think you have a viable idea, start-up business coaching can set you on the road to success as entrepreneur.
