Last week i had the pleasure to go out to a lakehouse and participate in what i will remember as one of the most special and intense recording projects Ive ever been blessed to be a part of. producer/artist relationships are unique and refining in so many ways.....every project is an opportunity to learn so much about yourself and other humans in such a special way do to the nature of the work and the type of people you get to be around. There are a handful of artists that have stuck with, invested in, and grown with/along side me as an artist and professional. The impact of those relationships both creatively and personally are often bigger than we can see outside of the God given lense of retrospection. Nick Mery is one of those big ones.....san antonio, you seriously dont even know what you have on your hands. watch out.
