Last week, it was announced the city of Tiffin Public Works Department would be collecting trees and limbs from the July 10 storm through Friday. Due to the large amount of limbs still in need of collection and high volume of calls, the mayor has instructed Public Works to extend the curbside tree and limb collection through July 26 to ensure proper cleanup of the city. He requests all residents to have their brush brought to the curb by the original deadline so the city is able to quantify the amount still in need of being removed. The waste water treatment plant brush pile drop-off site is open seven days a week, 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. people would like to drop off their brush.
