Last week or so, they reported that Gwoza has been taken over by our new self-anointed Caliph of Gwoza, Mr Shekau, my people shrugged and moved on. Now, we are hearing rumours that Caliph Shekau has taken over Bama. What I find disturbing in all these is the body language from our politicians, especially our Ogas at the top: the lawmakers, Governors and the President. There is no sense of panic whatsoever. They simply carry on as if everything is fine. Is there something they are not telling us? When exactly are they going to start getting worried that we have a huge problem? When Caliph Shekau reaches Maiduguri? Something doesnt feel right! It simply doesnt make any sense. It feels as if the politicians are deliberately ignoring Shekau. This is now getting irritatingly embarrassing. You cant have an armed bandit riding roughshod over a country of 160 million. When exactly will GEJ eventually decide hes had enough of this bullshit???
