Last week the breach in the beaver dam that maintains the ponds - TopicsExpress

Last week the breach in the beaver dam that maintains the ponds near the entrance to RiverNorth lowered the water significantly and attracted the feeding presence of as many as fifteen Wood Storks as well as the other usual suspects -- Great Egret, Great and Little Blue Heron, White Ibis, Solitary Sandpiper, and more. This large group was feeding near the road around 9:00 AM when I recorded a hand-held four minute video of the action that included a fortuitous side-by-side comparison of two feeding styles. Hence the title: Shufflin and Stabbin
