Last week we brought on the pork-tastic skills of PJ Vadas. This week we’re inviting special guest judge, Andy Fenner, to share and judge in his area of expertise - nose-to-tail meat! Andy Fenner has been named as one of Mail & Guardians 200 Young South Africans, he has represented the Africa chapter as a San Pellegrino Top 50 judge, as well as choosing and evaluating the best local restaurants as a judge for Eat Out Magazine. Frankie Fenner Meat Merchants was an idea borne out of frustration. Having consulted for a major retailer, Andy had grown disillusioned at animal welfare and local farming practices. Together with his wife Nicole, they dreamt of having a store that only sold free-range, grass-fed and pasture reared animals. Nose-to-tail eating is what inspires Andy.
