Last week we worked hard getting everything in our house packed to move. Danny preached on Sunday at the Baptist Church in Dodge City, and he will preach there again this coming Sunday. During the week, we had planned to make a trip to Alexandria, IN, where we are moving, with a pick-up load and a motor home. We got to Ness City, about 60 miles north, and the motor home stalled and wouldnt start again. Two young guys stopped to help us, and a convenience store down the street called a mechanic who pronounced the starter shot. He helped us tow the motor home to an RV park, and we drove home in the pick-up--me, Danny, five dogs, and three cats. This morning Danny rented some equipment and went back and towed the motor home back to the mechanic who had supposedly repaired it in July. This mechanics work is guaranteed, and he said that if the problem is with the starter, the work is on him. Danny says the motor home acts now exactly how it acted when we took it in to be fixed. We had planned to make a flying trip to Alexandria this week, and back so Danny can preach on Sunday. When we will go now, we dont know. You wouldnt believe the peace Jesus has given us during this whole ordeal. We trust Him because we know Him, and we love Him. Everything will be all right.
