Last year I asked you guys if you thought it would be cool to bring a community instigator on tour to inspire and teach people how to purchase land collectively in the form of land trusts, llcs, nonprofits, etc. Naturally, you guys were all about it. After poking around and asking a few questions in my community, I began speaking with Jonah of Activated Villages. Hes made it his lifes mission to help groups find creative ways to find and purchase community land and illuminate the many aspects to a successful land collaboration. activatedvillages/ Jonah and I both got busy, and the conversation paused, but was not forgotten. A few weeks ago, I found out that Jonah and Activated Villages made a large contribution to our Permaculture Action Tour, so here we are picking up the thread. Beautiful the way our lives can weave in and out, and come back again full circle, creating even more potent opportunities to work together. Jonah and I have picked up the discussion, and were investigating ways we can work together to serve you guys in this realm.
