Late 1930s-Early 1940s Deco Persian Lamb Dress Coat. Easily one of the most incredible garments I have ever encountered, a historical marvel and a study in elegance and structure. Crafted in Glossy, Jet Black Persian Lamb Fur, a dreamy slim swing coat shape with an asymmetrical cross over front, mandarin collar, peaked Adrain shoulders, and INSANELY dramatic bell sleeves (13 Wide at the cuff!) with an internal fitted cuff and partial sleeve!internal grosgrain covered hook and loop closure along the front panel, fully lined in rayon crepe, with a winter weight flannel layer for added warmth. Internal straps allow for the coat to be worn draped over the shoulders without the risk of slipping, lining is monogrammed in a Chinese inspired font with the initials of the original owner, SLS. As if this thing wasnt dreamy enough, the condition is unreal. Phenomenal vintage condition with no holes, stains, smells, fading, tears, shedding or a single notable flaw. Every last stitch of this coat appears almost like new. Measurements (flat): 18 Across the seams of the Padded Shoulders, 23.5 Pit to Pit, 32 Across Bottom Edge, 42 Total Length Down Center Back with a 26 Bell Sleeve (the internal sleeve is slightly shorter and adjustable as the cuff fits the wrist). $195 plus $10 to Ship Within the US (structure=this beauty is a bit weighty! Will Ship Worldwide)
