Late Night With George Tonight at the First Citizens Party at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I was invited to The First Citizens Bank preview party tonight at The Noth Carolina Museum of Art. We were able to view the new exhibit of the art of design of the Porshe automobiles. This exhibit is one of the most interesting studies of the art of design for that company. The exhibit will be the first of its kind and ticket sells will be going quickly. Our Musuem of Art if a highly competitive msueum and is always cutting edge on its direction under the supervision of Director, Mr. Larry Wheeler, who they should name the building after. His dedication to his job has bought so many treasures to our state, including the Rodin collection that seperates us from anything ordinary. My story is actually more about the depth of management of First Citizens Bank. The entire management of the bank was there tonight, and I was truly awed by the composition of the banks numerous extremely talented people. They have such a grasp of the financial situation of our world today. Their stock, trades at around 200.00 per share of commom stock, and is about as solid an investment as one could find anywhere. The bank is largely owned by the Holding family and they keep very tight strings on how the bank is managed. Frank B. Holding is the Chairman, and his sister, Hope Holding Connel, is Vice Chairman. They have the vision of their Uncle, The late Lewis R. Holding, and their Father, Frank B. Holding Sr. These veteran bankers have carved their mark into our state over the last 100 years, and the children are now focused on expansion of the brand while coveting the values of the company. For me, I like knowing that the future of the company is based on the decisions of people i know and respect. I do not think that I have ever been in a room with so many really intelligent people. I felt very secure with any investments I may have with First Citizens Bank, and just being able to know the quality of people who are involved with my business is very comforting. Their new forever first campaign was explained, and their outreach to new investors was compelling. This bank is truly a cut above, and let me say that the delicious ahi tuna with stuffed cabbage and sesame ginger sauce wontons which I had at least 8 of made up for any bank charges I have had this year. Fabulous. Heres to a great North Carolina compamy and their distinguished employees that make a bank a true relationhip with a customer. George
