Late day at the Festivus Games for the CrossFit Merrick crew (thanks Kelly!); Cliff tied for first in the max clean WOD and finished 11th for the day. Kelly and Audrey PR’d their cleans @ 140 lbs. Shannon pulled 155 on the clean, but she’s not sure if that’s a PR or not. Shannon finished 9th overall. Not too shabby for a first time competitor. Audrey edged Shannon out for 8th overall. It was her second place finish on the rower in WOD 1 that made the difference. Kelly finished 5th in the Intermediate Women’s group qualifying her for the final WOD. Kelly placed 4th overall just missing a cash prize and the honor of paying for the tolls home. Great job CFM atheletes!!
