**Late night confession** Just like how youd do while at home, i used to take excess white cake, n save some (in a toasti bread polythene paper), so as to take it with tea the next morning. That was back in form one. I had found this economical, more so regarding the status of a form one in any high school (bullying/ molesting + a form 1 used to have little or no rights/ freedom). So, on this fine Saturday, after church(i was an S.D.A faithful) we was taking late mid-morning-breakfast at around 12 mid day. After getting my mug of tea, i went n sat somewhere on a corner of the schools dining hall, n as usual, i removed my precious AFRICAN CAKE, to take with tea.. Then this guy Kephers Ondieky , being one of my best friends/ a class-mate n a dorm-mate, came to sit near me. He was curious to know what it was that i was taking, n i told him it was a Precious White African Cake, that i couldnt afford to offer a piece to anyone. He begged for at least a small piece, n him being my pal, i couldnt get mean on him, but i had my terms too (keep mum about it). Oh! my..hell broke lose when he got his share of my white cake...he laughed out loud n went all over the place, showing everyone the previous days ugali that i was taking.. my little economic secret was no longer a secret nor economical..it was such an embarrassing moment, getting laughed at, by almost the better part of the students population.
