Lately, I have had a few beers of questionable quality from Parallel 49. However I just had Lil Red from them, which is rated in my bottom 25. It is supposed to be a Sour Cherry (Berliner Weisse) It has a watery somewhat tart cherry flavor, but the primary element in the palate seems to be DMS (sulphur). While some beers need this, style guidelines for this style allow no DMS whatsoever. If anyone else has had this beer, I would be interested in your comments..... perhaps I got a bad bottle?
