Lately Ive noticed that the more professional my shoes, the more professionally I hold myself, and the more productive I am at work. My dress shoes make this distinguished click-clack sound when I walk, unlike my other shoes, which I can shuffle around in. Ive found that when Im click-clacking around the office, Im inclined to stand taller, to accommodate the professionalism of the noise. When I stand taller, and when I perceive that I look professional, I wind up holding myself more professionally and working more productively. Its great!
