Lately I’ve been feeling like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. Maybe these feelings are coming to fruition because we are approaching Gerold’s one year anniversary and I still feel just as shocked, sad and confused. Maybe its wedding jitters, anticipating the big day and all the last minute decisions. Maybe its that Im being too hard on myself- physically with my work outs, mentally with work or spiritually by believing Im not good enough for all my blessings. I thought a lot about my feelings this morning during my quiet time, cried all the way to work and then right before getting out of my car Matt Redmans song Your Grace Finds Me came on. I honestly felt like someone was hugging me and within a few seconds I felt at peace (for once in a few weeks). The words rang so true to me, and never would I have thought I could relate so literally to two of the lines: Its there on a wedding day / There in the weeping by the graveside. I looked up and said I know that was you God.... Right when I think Ive lost my mind and my faith, he comes through & Im covered by his Grace. God is SO good and faithful!!!
