Lately, have been experiencing some strange tinnitus that Ive never experienced before. Randomly playing a small piece of tune (which sounds very similar to the beginning tunes of Michael Jacksons Little Susie song if that makes sense)... and also, I experience what sounds like someone wringing a wade of bubble wrap to pop as many bubbles as possible. What is going on? Even with music from the iPod streaming via ComPilot, I can still hear the tinnitus tune repeating itself over and over. These 2 new tinnitus sounds are really driving me crazy. I do have an appointment at the CI clinic next week for further check to make sure right ear has fully healed, and for new MAPs, so will definitely be mentioning this with both audie and surgeon. I am just going stir crazy with these sounds. Makes no difference if processor is on or off.
