Latest Ebola Thoughts - dont be stupid and you wont cause others to be stupid. Stupid begets stupid. A nurse that treated the Dallas patient, gets on a plane after being cleared for airline travel? Im sorry... why was that even an OPTION for her? A couple days later, her trip cost the following: -an entire school system shuttered because one of the students was on that plane. -an entire airplane grounded. -the entire staff of that plane put on three-week paid vacation (meaning someone else just lost theirs while they fill in) -flight delays Im sure while it was sorted out. -a bunch of hissy-fitt-fans to schumer their drawers. Maybe if youve been treating Ebola patients, just for the sake of not being stupid, you should at the minimum refrain from commercial travel via train, airplane, cruise ship for a few weeks, eh? And funniest/saddest of all, Obama is considering appointing an Ebola Czar to be in charge of this whole nationwide scare/issue. Im sorry, but the person that gets THAT job needs to know this in advance.... you must have severely pissed off everyone you ever knew to get appointed to that post! Thats a career-ender waiting to happen! If you succeed, the White House and CDC are going to take credit. If you fail, or ONE more person gets sick, your head and career are going to be served up on a plate. I mean, I bet there are doctors right now that are avoiding calls simply so they WONT be able to answer the call letting them know about their new promotion. lol
