Latest News (Nov26, 2013) *TEPCO to build 2 coal power plants Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) announced Monday that it is planning to build two thermal coal power plants in Fukushima Prefecture by 2020. The two new power plants, each being located at the Hirono and the Nakoso power stations, will have a total output of 1 million KW and will use 2.3 million tons of thermal coal annually, imported to the port of Onahama in the southern part of Fukushima.
