Latest on the #DiplomaticPost: The U.S. Department of State is committed to addressing the fundamental challenge faced by all countries of engaging more women in science, encouraging them to pursue advanced degrees, fellowships and ultimately undertaking successful careers across a broad spectrum of scientific fields. Initiatives have focused on creating networks of women scientists between the U.S. and other countries, including New Zealand. This topic was at the core of last month’s U.S.-New Zealand Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation (JCM).
