Latest research from the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has shown that local convenience stores have raised more than £20m for charity in the last year with shops in the North East being the most generous in the UK donating an average of £464 each! “Convenience stores are at the heart of their communities, not just providing unparalleled service to their customers but also giving back to good causes,” said ACS chief executive James Lowman.
