Latest review- Shawns book is just incredible. My husband has struggled with PTSD since he returned home from his deployment in 2006. This book made me feel like I was not alone. I love how the perspective changes to emphasize the spouses point of view and the veterans point of view. When I first realized my husband had PTSD, it was very hard for me to relate to him and to understand why things were the way they were. Reading Shawns take on a situation and then the same scenario from her husbands perspective helped me relate to why and how my husband does things. I think that anyone who knows someone who has PTSD should read this book. I am hoping to have others in my family read this so they can understand what my husband deals with on a daily basis. Thank you SO much for writing such an amazing book! It has helped us in our fight with the VA, and with PTSD, and I hope that it helps other families with theirs.
