Latest review for Blood Related: At the top of my list By Sheldon Woodbury - September 19, 2014 Format: Paperback I absolutely loved this book. As a horror writer myself I tend to be hard to please, because I read so much in the field. But this book blew me away. It was written with a scalpel like precision and unflinching honesty. Its difficult to write about madness and insanity, but the writer tackled the subject in a way that was both brutally chilling and scary, but also insightful and completely authentic. I really like the various reports and news clips that were included. The book felt utterly real and authentic, which made it even more scary. The main character, Caleb Cunningham, was a terrific creation, as were the other members of the family. This is a ferociously dark book, but in the best possible way. It will scare the hell out of you, but you wont be able to put it down.
