Laura Eleftheria Ana asked, I have decided to homeschool my daughter, who is entering 1st grade. I want to start the beginning/early of August. I have heard wonderful things about A Beka, Classical Conversations and Sonlight. I do not know the differences between them very well though, and I have not yet decided on one over the other. There is a CC group about 25 minutes from my house we would participate in if we go that route. My daughter loves art and creativity, so I know I will need to modify the lessons if I pick one of those. Also, for social studies, I already have a plan. We are going to study one country in depth from every continent, and make a craft from each as well. At her school last year they did robotics once a day, and I would like to incorporate that into her learning this year as well. I was wondering if there is a great curriculum that is integrated with arts and crafts(hands-on), and then I can supplement the biblical knowledge, the phonics, etc.. I feel very overwhelmed.
