Laura, The first time I met you, I thought to myself... she is so ding dang sweet. I remember thinking how much different Ed looked since you came along. He had a peace in his eyes, and a calmness in his stance that I hadnt seen in him before. The thing that touched me the most was that after the very first time we met, you sent my children birthday cards. I remember thinking to myself, how did she remember that , I barely have time to remember it myself, lol. It was such a common gesture in your kindness I am sure, but to me...it meant alot. I so enjoyed our last visit together, having pizza with the kids and talking about parenting and family. I like that I can feel open and unjudged by you and Ed. Thank you for being you. I dont often trust people enough to openly discuss parenting, or marriage...as I am deeply committed to my beliefs....but I instantly felt at ease that you both were building a life worth living. So thank you for being you. No more no less. You remind me that a life worth living can carry on forever in your childrens hearts, and your husbands soul. Sometimes the slightest touch to the water, creates the biggest ripple in the pond. Be a ripple. Be a Laura. :)
