Lawmakers in our democracy indeed are one a penny bunch. The folk in the Enugu State House of Assembly want to remove the state Deputy Governor simply because his sickly principal wants him out for daring to aspire to be governor come 2015. In order to achieve their ambition, the House in a notice sent to the deputy governor, which was pasted on the gates of his two residence in Enugu, alleged that the deputy governor had between February 2013 and February 2014, wrongfully deployed the resources of his office to resist and ridicule the implementation of the Public Health Policy of the state. Specifically, he was accused of violating a resolution which prohibits the maintenance and operation of commercial livestock and poultry farms within residential neighbourhoods in Enugu metropolis in promotion of public health standards. So, raring animals in someones secluded residence is an impeachable offence in Sullivan Chimes Enugu State? I dey laugh in Wawa language.
