Laws have been put forth a few times to expand our ability to regulate this stuff. A few studies have shown that in many cases the ingredients on the bottle arent actually in the product. It has also been determined that food labeling is a free speech issue so manufacturers can say what ever they want about their products without anything backing. Id like to thank the people that feel the market will regulate itself.
