Laying of Foundation of House of God Calls For Celebration(PART 1) ........................................................................................................ And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid(Ezra 3:11) …………………………………………………………………………………………………… It was time to rebuild the temple.And who else did God choose to do it this time.No one else but Zerubbabel,the governor of Judah.Prior to this,the children of Isreal had been carried away into captivity by Nebuchadnezzer,king of Babylon.But when God’s lease on Nebuchadnezzer expired,he installed Cyrus,King of Persia to conquer Nebuchadnezzer ,bring Israel back to their land and rebuild the temple.It is recorded that when the Israelites were returning,a total of Forty-two Thousand,Three Hundred and Sixty(42,360) left Babylon to Jerusalem.Fortunately,Zerubbabel(or Sheshbazzar;Ezra 1:11) led them back.
