Leakage Of Gas Cylinder ,Damaged House in watlar. By Rouf banday/Ganderbal news. Aug 09: House Damaged in fire in Watlar area central kashmir Ganderbal District, presumably following a cooking gas cylinder leak in the kitchen, reports and witnesses said. The witnesses said at around 6:30 PM the moment the cooking gas cylinder caught fire, Arifa Wife of Mohd.Shafi R\O Watlar Ganderbal who was present there at once rushed upstairs to rescue the other inmates. Shouting for safety, Arifa and other elders started rescuing the kids who were still in Kitchen, as flames went up in the house. locals called the Fire Service office in Lar area and fire tenders were pressed into service which brought the blaze under control. Fire officials of Lar fire station said that the impact of the fire was major due to cylinder blasts.
