Learned the value of hashtags on Facebook recently. If you type #SandFire you will be directed to all of the posts about the fire burning along the border of El Dorado and Amador Counties. I have avoided talking about it because my News Feed is just slammed with photos and videos from friends who are losing their homes, farms and wineries in the fire. On the one hand, I dont want to make things worse by adding to the depression, but on the other hand, I cant deny its weighing heavily on all our minds. If you would like to help, please click on the hashtag and look for a way that fits your capacity to help. Firefighters need bottled water and Gatorade. Residents need help evacuating, and they will need help rebuilding once the smoke clears. If you are in need of something, please type #SandFire in your status so readers can easily find you.
