Learnt a lesson in perseverance today. Woke up this morning for the 94.7 cycle race and found that the mechanic who services my bike forgot to add a vital component which rendered the bike unridable. So I has to make a plan as they say here in South Africa. Get my MTB bike and swop the wheels around and put everything together. I was 30min late for my start time but I pushed on through. At the end of the day I rode a personal best of 3h38m which made my day!
