Leave It to Beaver (1957-1963) is an American television situation comedy about an inquisitive and often naïve boy named Theodore The Beaver Cleaver (portrayed by Jerry Mathers; born June 2, 1948) and his adventures at home, in school, and around his suburban neighborhood. The show also starred Barbara Billingsley (December 22, 1915 – October 16, 2010) and Hugh Beaumont (February 16, 1909 – May 14, 1982) as Beavers parents, June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow (born April 13, 1945) as Beavers brother Wally.
