Leaving DC. What an amazing experience. The weather was perfect, the company ok ( just kidding) - Brooke Guske and Michael Guske and Robert Hesselgesser, the sites spectacular. Yesterday was Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean, WW2 Memorial and a Washington Nationals baseball game with a 9 th inning pinch hit home run by the Giants to win. Today Arlington National Cemetery - watched the changing of the guard and then got a private briefing by one of the guards. Breathtaking! Saw Abner Doubledays head stone much by accident. Went to Capital building, Library of Congress - amazing, and hit two Smithsonian museums. Walked our feet off but AMAZING two days.
