#read now The way people (who arent African) get it all sooooo wrong, heres a few things that come to mind, add more if you like. 1. Africa is NOT a country. There is no language called African. The closest thing to that is Afrikaans which is a language spoken in South Africa and Namibia which is the daughter language of Dutch. 2. Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa arent the only countries in Africa. We have 54! 3. The Africa they show you on TV is only half the story, not every city/country is impoverished or poor. 4. We do know how to use a knife and fork and we dont always eat with our hands. 5. Yes, Somalia is in Africa, dont be mean. 6. Yes Africa has white people. We have Jewish people, Arabs, Asian people, Orientals, mixed race people... Come to South Africa, youll see what I mean. 7. We are technologically advanced too! We have TVs, PS4, computers, you name it! 8. Not all of us live in mud huts. My grandpa had a massive house, bigger than a standard English house, with maids, security, gardener etc. 9. Not all of us eat fufu, jollof rice or yam. I would be here all night if I told you every African dish. 10. Zulus are South African! Please dont associate us with any other African country its annoying. 11. To the Caribbeans that always have something nasty to say about us. Not all of us beg to be like you and yes we are aware that not every Caribbean originated from Africa .But sometimes you people make us out to be dirty uncivilised people and to be honest not all of us are like that. 12. It has snowed in Africa before, well South Africa anyway. 13. Not every African girl is dark and not every light-skinned African bleaches. Not all of us have short nappy hair and to be honest I think its awesome that one continent can hold so many people that look so different, every country is beautiful.
