Our production plants are strategically located in the USA and Europe, enabling us to supply high purity quartz sand to a network of global customers, many of whom are key players within their respective industries.. Our High Purity Quartz is unique, sourced from Spruce Pine, the only area with quartz pure enough to produce the crucibles needed to manufacture semiconductor ingots. Taking this unique product from Spruce Pine, combining this with our other pure quartz source in Drag, Norway, treating it in our plant in Drag, allows us to produce both standardized and specialized products for our customers, based on their needs. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Perform daily routine quartz analysis (chemical composition, particle size distribution, etc.) - Sample preparations for internal analysis - Sample preparations for analysis by external laboratory - Quartz processing in laboratory scale - Evaluation of analyzed results - Contribute to production process quality control Qualifications: - Handy and careful (working with chemicals, glassware and fragile laboratory equipment) - Motivated to learn (many new laboratory procedures) - Observant (important for quality control) - Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Especially Excel) - Scandinavian language For further information, please contact Product Quality Manager Kristyna Lilja, Tel. +47 404 97 631.
