Left Whitmire 0430 Monday. Temp was 54 degrees. Rain was coming but I arrived dry in Laurens for work. I was to stay the night in Laurens to help with my StepDad. The forecast high for Tuesday was 50. So.......this big dummy took the cold weather gear out of the bags. I knew it would be a cold ride on Tuesday morning but hey......its only 2 miles. I rode that 2 miles at 28 degrees this morning. Yeah, it was cold but I can endure most anything for 2 miles. And I planned to ride home with a temp at or near 50. I just had to wait for the temp to get there. I finally gave up at 1630 and headed home with no cold weather riding gear. The temp was 36 degrees. In defense of our local meteorologists, Spring is the most difficult time of year to make accurate weather predictions. Im not mad. I am maintaining a good attitude as I thaw my testicles.
