Left work early...did a popup visit at Johnathans school...when I got there they had all the 7th graders on his team in the auditorium talking to them due to their behavior...I quietly walked in the auditorium and had a seat...the principal walks over to me and says Ms. Jones? I responded, yes Sir. He asked me if I would talk to the kids also...with no intentions on addressing the children, I gladly accepted. I observed the lack of respect the children had for the principal, teachers and law enforcement...absolutely NO FEAR or remorse...they spoke so kind to the children...they tried to encourage and explain what their expectations were of them...in return, most of them were holding conversations with their peers, laughing, sucking their teeth, etc...prior to me getting up I had deep conversation with The Lord...I asked Him to give me whatever I needed to say to these children to capture their attention...I asked Him to open up their ears to listen and their brains to properly process what He would have me to say...as a result it turned out well...they were attentive...there wasnt anymore laughing, talking, sucking teeth...you could hear a pin drop! We cannot play with these children...show love but do not allow them to do what they want. We also must realize that what we are fighting in these children is not flesh and blood...it is a lot deeper than what the human eye can see...whatever we do...lets not give up on our children...they are the heritage of The Lord...
