Legal Dimensions of Ukraine Crisis Go Public at UN Headquarters The report The Crisis in Ukraine: Its Legal Dimensions razomforukraine.org/report will be presented at the United Nations Headquarters on Thursday, May 8 at a meeting of representatives from UN member countries and Non-Governmental Organizations. A press conference will follow at 1 p.m. in the UN Press Briefing Room. The Crisis in Ukraine: Its Legal Dimensions is a report produced by an international team of legal scholars to give policymakers and diplomats legal tools to help stop Russia’s imminent aggression in Ukraine. The report offers a comprehensive analysis of the situation in Ukraine in the framework of international law, and is the first and only academic treatise of its kind to date. The international team prepared the report pro bono while studying at NYU School of Law. The 76-page Report covers all the critical legal aspects of the conflict. “Prepared for Razom, a Ukrainian-American human rights organization, this team of highly trained international lawyers has outlined legal conclusions on Eastern Ukraine; the annexation of Crimea; the Budapest Memorandum on international security guarantees; and the human rights and humanitarian law at issue,” reads razomforukraine.org.
