Postbank is seeking to recruit high calibre, results-oriented and experienced professionals for the following position: Legal Officer Position Function: To assist the Legal office in providing efficient and effective legal services to the Bank Qualification Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in a reputable organization. Other: 1. Post graduate Diploma in Law 2. Good communication skills 3. Proven computer literacy and proficiency 4. CPS (K) qualification will be added advantage Duties and responsibilities Verify security documents and ensure that they are duly registered as required Liaise with external lawyers, valuers, auctioneers and other consultants Drawing legal contracts, leases and other legal documents and ensure they are signed, sealed by authorised signatories Follow up on litigation matters and attend court cases. Conduct legal research on legal issues and statutes guiding the operations of Bank Give legal advice to the Management of the Bank.
