Legislation I filed in response to a constituent concern that will more accurately classify the registration of dual rear-wheel pickup trucks is on the Senate agenda today. Currently all dually trucks must be registered as commercial vehicles, even if they are used for personal purposes – like dragging a trailer, boat or camper. My bill will lower fees and promote fairness by requiring the RMV to classify the trucks based on use versus just vehicle type.
