Legit question here... Zombies, right? Theyre living people infected with a viral pathogen that forces the body into a state of comatose before technically dying. When brought back, the limits the human brain normally has on mundane functions is more or less removed (we do have the jaw strength to snap a bone in half, but our brain more or less says dont do that, you could die from a stray splinter) because of the virus. My question is - how the hell can they hear, smell, see and why the crap do they just not eat each other? When you die, the first part of your brain to start deteriorating is the neurological part of it, which more or less results in the shuffling zombies were used to seeing (the brain ceases function six minutes after heart failure). Time waits for no one, so the brain like the rest of the body is going to rot away eventually, why dont they just drop dead; literally? I fail to see how a reanimated corpse can hear, see, smell and even walk. >.>
