Les Ellery, father, son, brother, uncle, horse breeder and friend to many died this afternoon at 5.30. He was surrounded by family and friends in the last days of his life and even had a hospital visit from his two beloved dogs yesterday. He was in very little pain and, at 91, had seen depression, wars, peace and many changes over the course of his life. He will be missed by myself, his other son, Mark, and the hundreds of other people he has helped over the years.
