Leslie Buffone Writes: It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this email. On September 12, 2014 two of our Pennsylvania State Troopers were shot. One was injured and sadly one was killed. Corporal Bryon Dickson was shot as he was doing his shift change. He was a Marine Corps Veteran who decided to join the PSP in 2007. He had just transferred to the Blooming Grove Barracks in June so he could spend more time with his wife of ten years; Tiffany, and his two small sons, Bryon and Adam. Trooper Alex Douglass was injured by the same gunman in this horrific attack on our law enforcement. He was shot and had to undergo surgery. He is still in critical condition the hospital. He is talking and alert. He is recovering with the support of his wife and family. This has been extremely trying as a personal family and as the PSP family. My husband is a trooper of four years and we have a handful of relatives that are also PSP. We also have numerous close, personal friends that work at the barracks close to Blooming Grove searching for the shooter Eric Frein. He is considered armed and dangerous. We have every confidence that our PSP WILL find him! I feel that even the smallest bit of financial support will be extremely helpful and the emotional prayers and support are always the most important!
