Less than a week after the town manager issued a cease-and-desist order against pipeline workers trying to survey residents’ properties, the company that wants to build a high-pressure natural gas line through town agreed to convene a meeting to answer questions about the controversial project. The two-hour presentation by representatives of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners and its subsidiary, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, takes place Wednesday, July 9, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Wood Hill Middle School on Cross Street.
