Lesson in VN: have your fruits and veggies weighed by a worker before you go to the cashier, print out ticket and put it on the bag. This will help to not hold up the line, like standing behind a coupon queen. I took a cab to Big C Supermarket today...its kinda like Walmart without the everyday low prices. Its laid out pretty much the same, a produce area, meats, household goods, clothes etc. I couldnt find a few items, but I refuse to give up. I have downloaded Google translator. I did find that the quality is very poor. So I will wait for my things to arrive and make due with what I have. My over all impression, its very hard to find certain things or they just dont have it (cake mix, Doritos, brand name cereals), its very expensive (three times as much) when you can find things, and its even more complicated because you cant ask questions. Be kind today, smile as I could have used just one friendly face yesterday. It costs you nothing and could be worth a great deal to a stranger.
